The Sunniside Business Forum provides an opportunity for the local economy to network and access support and updates from a range of external organisations including Sunniside Partnership and Sunderland arc, City Centre Management, Business Link, Northumbria Police, the Sunderland Echo and Back on the Map.
Meetings are held every six weeks and give members the chance to find out about business planning advice, access to grants and updates on regeneration activity in the area. It also encourages businesses to talk to each other and identify joint marketing and promotional opportunities.
At present, over 40 businesses are represented at the meetings.
